How to find and bid ITD District 1 projects

ITD District 1 covers the five northern Idaho counties: Boundary, Bonner, Kootenai, Benewah and Shoshone.
1. Watch the forecasts
ITD publishes a 90-day bidding look-ahead and an 18-month look-ahead. Each row lists district, key number, route, location, work type, construction budget and an approximate bid date.
2. Get the bid package
Advertised projects and plan sets are linked from ITD Contractor Bidding. ITD does not prequalify bidders, but you need a QuestCDN account and must buy the plans to appear on the plan holders list, which ITD requires for a valid bid (see ITD’s bidding checklist).
3. Local bridges
Local-agency bridge replacements under the Leading Idaho Local Bridge program are forecast in the LILB look-ahead and advertised through LHTAC bids & solicitations.
4. Check results
After bids open, ITD publishes bid abstracts listing each bidder and price; links are on ITD Contractor Bidding.
