What the service is

Idaho Bid Brief is twice-weekly curated public-works intel for North Idaho / Spokane corridor contractors. It covers bids and RFPs, ITD District 1 items, and filtered commercial permits, delivered primarily by email.

It is a curated information product from public sources—not a full planroom, bid-management system, or source of legal, engineering, estimating, or other professional advice. Idaho Bid Brief is not affiliated with ITD, local agencies, Dodge, or ConstructConnect.

Subscription, founding seats, and pricing

Subscriptions use Stripe Checkout. Founding membership is $49 per month while founding seats are available. After the founding seats fill, the planned price for later memberships is $99 per month. Pricing and availability are shown on the site at checkout.

Subscriptions renew monthly. You can cancel anytime. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and access continues through the end of the paid month. The service is planned for Tuesday and Thursday morning delivery (PT).

No guarantee of completeness

We make a reasonable effort to find and curate useful public notices, but we do not guarantee that every bid, RFP, permit, deadline, addendum, or other opportunity will be captured, accurate, current, or suitable for you. Always verify details with the relevant public agency or source document before acting.

Content and intellectual property

The brief content we write—including our organization, summaries, and original notes—is owned by Idaho Bid Brief and is provided to subscribers for their internal business use. Please do not republish or redistribute the brief as a competing service.

Public source documents, notices, and agency materials remain the property or responsibility of the agencies and other original sources that publish them. Their terms and rights still apply.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Idaho Bid Brief and Josiah Wilson will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for losses resulting from missed, incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate information in the brief. Our total liability for a claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

The service is provided as-is and as available. This limitation does not apply where the law does not allow it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
