City of Coeur d’Alene bids
Last updated
Where the city posts
The city lists solicitations on its Bid Solicitations page (Municipal Services). All bid documents are hosted on the Abadan plan center. The account is free, but Abadan reviews and approves it, so register before a bid you want comes out.
Plan holders and addenda
The city’s bid ads say you must register by downloading documents (free) or buying hard copies to be on the official plan-holders list and receive addenda. Sealed bids go to City Hall, 710 E. Mullan Avenue, and are opened in public.
What it bids
The city’s 2026 archive included pedestrian ramp improvements, a northeast water tank, McEuen playground turf, the 2026 chip seal, Mill River lift station upgrades, a water meter purchase, and the 2026 mill and inlay. The mill and inlay ad (July 2026) required an Idaho public works contractor license to bid and 5% bid security, and stated prevailing wages were not required.
How often
The city’s 2026 archive lists seven solicitations. Some city street work with federal funds is advertised by ITD or LHTAC instead, such as the Ramsey Road signal upgrades (ITD Key 24276, opening November 3, 2026).
Tips
- Get the plan-room account approved now.
- Check the funding: federal money brings Davis-Bacon wages. See the local bidding guide.
Idaho Bid Brief does not yet pull Coeur d’Alene’s plan room into its issues; city projects advertised through ITD or LHTAC are included.
