LHTAC bidding
Last updated
LHTAC helps Idaho’s cities, counties and highway districts deliver local road and bridge projects, including the Leading Idaho Local Bridge (LILB) program. It advertises and opens bids for those projects itself.

How bids are opened
Bids are opened publicly at LHTAC, 3330 W. Grace Street, Boise, and live-streamed on Microsoft Teams; the link is posted 48 hours ahead. All times are Mountain, which is an hour ahead of North Idaho, so convert the deadline (LHTAC). Questions on a project go through its consultant resident engineer.
North Idaho on the forecast
From LHTAC’s October 2026 forecast: Charlie Creek Road over Santa Creek, Benewah County ($2M–$5M, bid Nov 19, 2026); Wilderness Road over Deep Creek, Boundary County; and three Shoshone County bridges (Terror Gulch, Two Mile Gulch over the South Fork, and Potlatch Road/Big Creek Trestle), each $2M–$5M and 120–180 days out. Recent North Idaho bids included Old River Road over the North Fork Coeur d’Alene River (April 2026) and Colburn Culver Road over the Pack River (February 2026).
How often
Bids open throughout the year; the forecast PDF and the monthly forecast meeting are the best guide to timing. Idaho Bid Brief re-reads the LHTAC forecast for every issue.
